What Is The Function Of The Condenser?

The function of the condenser is to cool the high-pressure and high-temperature gas (Freon steam) delivered by the compressor into a high-pressure and high-temperature liquid, just like boiling water, the water vapor will condense a layer of water droplets on the inside of the lid (because the lid The outer surface is much cooler than water vapour), dissipating a lot of heat into the air through the lid.

The process of turning water vapor into water is a condensation process and a heat dissipation process, so the condenser is a device that condenses freon vapor into freon liquid. Because it is constantly dissipating heat, its surface is hot.

The evaporator is to evaporate the freon liquid after throttling and decompression by the restrictor into a vapor. The process of freon liquid vaporization (evaporation) is an endothermic process. It still needs to absorb a lot of heat just like boiling water. Turn into steam (boil the pot). Due to the low evaporation temperature of Freon, the surface of the evaporator is cool (endothermic).

The running compressor, like a water pump, constantly draws heat from the evaporator and then dissipates it through the condenser. This is also the reason why many people call the air conditioner with heating function a heat pump air conditioner. Of course, this also requires another auxiliary device (four-way reversing valve) to help. Because refrigeration engineers can't be stupid enough to move the indoor unit outdoors and the outdoor unit indoors to achieve heating.
