The JHQ Suction Line Accumulator is a critical device used in refrigeration systems to protect compressors from potential damage caused by liquid refrigerant return. In low-temperature or variable-load conditions, refrigerant may not fully evaporate in the evaporator, resulting in the risk of liquid slugging. The JHQ accumulator solves this problem by effectively separating liquid refrigerant from the suction gas before it reaches the compressor.

Designed for high reliability and system protection, the JHQ series features a vertical cylindrical body made from high-quality steel, with internal baffling that directs the refrigerant flow for optimal separation. A small amount of oil and liquid refrigerant collected at the bottom of the vessel is gradually returned to the compressor through an integrated orifice tube, ensuring proper lubrication and safe system operation.

The accumulators are available in various sizes and capacities to suit different system requirements, and can be used with a wide range of refrigerants, including R22, R404A, R134a, R507, and more.
